11161350_477438879072428_1707650106587052037_nBridgeview Community Mental Health Center is a private, non-profit corporation chartered by the State of Iowa to provide a broad range of community mental health services. The organization serves Clinton County and the surrounding area in Iowa and Illinois.

 

Services include outpatient therapy, psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, school based therapy; school and community outreach, education and consultation; community support services, Integrated Health Home services, and treatment groups– all for individuals with a wide range of mental health problems. Treatment may be provided for mental health problems which are situational and/or connected to a social condition or significant life event, such as anxiety or depression triggered by the loss of a loved one, etc.  In other cases, treatment may be provided for chronic mental illnesses- ranging from mild to severe-  such as generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, bi-polar disorder or schizophrenia. Bridgeview serves thousands of individuals of all ages, backgrounds and income levels each year.

To carry out its mission, Bridgeview employs a staff of approximately 60 employees throughout its various locations. The outpatient office’s staff includes a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, clinical social workers, mental health counselors and mental health nurses. These professionals, all of whom are licensed and/or certified as well as experienced, are supported by various management and administrative/office personnel as well as clinical case managers who staff community services programs.

We work closely with affiliated hospitals, including Mercy Medical Center in Clinton, ensuring a continuum of care to clients in programming and services. We also coordinate with agencies and offices such as the Department of Human Services, Juvenile Court Services, county case management and our CPCs, substance abuse services, the police and local sheriff’s offices, Pathways Living Center, and local school systems in Clinton and Jackson counties.

 

Bridgeview Community Mental Health Center hours are:

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m.
